ABOUT THIS COURSE

Our COMBINED B0T0X AND DERMAL FILLER  FOUNDATION COURSE  is designed to teach you the fundamental foundations upon which to build your future career. Includes the theory and practical of how to safely and expertly administer HYALURONIC ACID DERMAL FILLERS to safely treat nose-to-mouth lines (nasolabial folds), mouth-to-chin lines (marionette lines), cheeks, and the corners of the mouth, along with  the theory and practical of how to safely and expertly treat the most popular 'three areas' requested in aesthetic medicine: the glabella, the forehead, and lateral canthal rhytides lines with B0TULINUM TOXIN.

ELIGIBILITY

To enrol on this course, you must be medically qualified as a surgeon, doctor, dentist, nurse, midwife, pharmacist, or paramedic and have a valid regulatory body active PIN number.

DERMAL FILLERS:

History - of dermal fillers, and their place and role in aesthetic medicine

Pharmacology - how dermal fillers work

Anaphylaxis - Algorithm and use of Hyalase (we highly recommend attending our COMPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT COURSE prior to injecting your own clients)

Adverse events - reporting / MHRA / yellow card scheme

Aftercare

Anatomy - relevant facial anatomy

Assessment - indulging the golden ratio (PHI), any natural asymmetries, scar tissue, previous dermal filler, ageing, any previous facial cosmetic surgery, biophysical changes

Choosing The Right Fillerhow to choose the right filler(s) for your client

Consent

Consultation Process How to provide safe, ethical consultations designed to maintain safety and give your clients a natural result which compliments their individual features and anatomy

Complications - how to minimise risk and a brief complications management

Consultation - how to provide an in-depth dermal filler consultation, to ensure treatment goals

Expectation Management

Emergency Protocols - including use of Hyalase and Emergency Kit Advice (brief, highly recommend attending our COMPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT COURSE prior to injecting your own patients

Four Fundamental Areas - including nose-to-mouth lines (nasolabial folds), mouth-to-chin lines (marionette lines) , cheeks augmentation / restoration, and how to treat the corners of the mouth using retrograde linear thread and supraperiosteal bolus techniques.

COURSE STRUCTURE

This 1 day course consists of both theory and practical elements, and we provide you with a training manual for you to take home. The day includes case studies, live demonstrations of injection techniques on clients,  and 2-4 hours of live injecting.

The option to attend further 1:1 practical sessions as needed 

The option to attend one of our MENTORSHIP PROGRAMMES, which enables you to work towards and / or meet the minimum standards as advised in the Health Education England (HEE) 2015 government training recommendations for delivery of cosmetic procedures.  In conjunction with our FOUNDATION COURSES, our MENTORSHIP PROGRAMMES  ensure that you meet HEE guidelines to enable you to become an experienced and independent aesthetic practitioner.
