ABOUT THIS COURSE
LIP FILLER - FOUNDATION COURSE is designed to teach you the basic techniques of how to administer hyaluronic acid dermal filler to plump, shape, correct, and augment the lips. Start your aesthetics career with our lip filler training.
ELIGIBILITY
To enrol on this course, you must be medically qualified as a surgeon, doctor, dentist, nurse, midwife, pharmacist, or paramedic and have a valid regulatory body active PIN number.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
History - of dermal fillers, and their place and role in lip augmentation / restoration
Pharmacology - how lip fillers work
Anaphylaxis - Algorithm and use of Hyalase (we highly recommend attending our COMPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT COURSE prior to injecting your own clients)
Adverse events - reporting / MHRA / yellow card scheme
Aftercare
Anatomy - including lip anatomy and relevant facial anatomy
Assessment - indulging the golden ratio (PHI), any natural asymmetries, scar tissue, previous lip filler, ageing, biophysical changes, complicated lips, thin lips
Choosing The Right Filler - how to choose the right filler for your client
Consent
Consultation Process - How to provide safe, ethical consultations designed to maintain safety and give your lip filler patients a natural result which compliments their individual features and anatomy
Complications - how to minimise the risk and complications management
Consultation - how to provide an in-depth lip filler consultation, to ensure treatment goals
Contraindications and Cautions
Deliver A Complete Lip Enhancement -including bolus and linear thread techniques to treat the Cupid's Bow, Vermillion Border, the Philtrum Column, Body of the Lip, Peri-oral Lines (bleed lines), and lift up a Downturned Mouth
Expectation Management
Emergency Protocols - including use of Hyalase and Emergency Kit Advice

COURSE STRUCTURE
We teach this course with a mixture of theory, live demonstration, and practical injection. You will get to inject at least one model's lips, proving you with a real, unparalleled practical experience. We also provide you with a training manual for you to take home.
