WHAT ARE SADDLEBAGS?
Saddlebags is the term used to describe excess fat deposit on the outside of the thighs, just below the hips.
WHAT CAUSES SADDLEBAGS?
SADDLEBAGS are often genetic or 'constitutional' in nature, meaning some people are simply predisposed to accumulating fat in this area. Their appearance tends to increase with age, and are generally, unfortunately, resistant to diet and exercise.
HOW CAN A SADDLEBAGS BE TREATED?
Surgical removal or liposuction are both suitable options, although both these procedures can be very expensive and involve a long period of downtime, plus the associated risks of surgery.
Cryolipolysis has been suggested as a treatment for saddlebags, although the efficacy and longevity of this treatment is much debated.
Intralipotherapy (fat dissolving injections) using DESOBODY is a permanent, safe, cost-effective solution. DESOBODY destroys the fat cells in the area, thus removing the saddlebags. Improvements may be seen as quickly as after one session, though a three session course is usually recommended for optimal results.
