About this treatment

It is transmitted through ingesting contaminated food or water and is more common in areas with poor sanitation. Symptoms of typhoid includeS high fever, weakness, stomach pains, headache, loss of appetite, and in some cases, a rash. Without prompt treatment, typhoid fever can lead to serious complications and can be fatal. Typhoid vaccine is highly recommended for travelers to regions where typhoid fever is prevalent, particularly in parts of South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
