Sebastian Rose Medical Aesthetics B0T0X FOUNDATION COURSE for medics provides the perfect start to your journey in Aesthetics, helping you learn the fundamental physiology, principles and practices required to launch a long, successful, and safe career.  ABOUT THIS COURSE Our B0T0X FOUNDATION COURSE is designed to teach you the fundamental foundations of B0TULINUM T0XIN upon which to build your future career. Includes the theory and practical of how to safely and expertly treat the most popular 'three areas' requested in aesthetic medicine: the glabella, the forehead, and lateral canthal rhytides lines. ELIGIBILITY To enrol on this course, you must be medically qualified as a surgeon, doctor, dentist, nurse, midwife, pharmacist, or paramedic and have a valid regulatory body active PIN number. ​ If you are NOT medically qualified, view our non-medic courses here. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN The history of injectables and their current place in aesthetic medicine How to ensure you provide safe, appropriate, and ethical consultations Pharmacology / mechanism of action Different 'types' of injectables and their uses Side effects / contraindications Safety, regulations, legislation, guidelines Consent Upper facial anatomy - target muscles Reconstitution / handling How to perfect the most popular 'three areas' treatment (glabella, forehead, and lateral canthal lines) Complications and how to minimise the risk of 'brow ptosis' - learn how to identify clients most at risk Adverse events / reporting / MHRA / yellow card scheme Aftercare and follow-up COURSE STRUCTURE This course consists of prior theory eLearning, and a 1 day practical course . We will also provide you with a training manual for you to take home. The day includes case studies, live demonstrations of injection techniques on clients, practical experience injecting real models, and a written (multiple choice) test at the end of the day.
