Every treatment is carried out by GMC or NMC-registered medical professionals holding Level 7 in Aesthetic Medicine, with 24 years of healthcare experience including emergency medicine and over a decade in full-time medical aesthetics, at 39 Charles Street in Cardiff city centre. VITAMIN B12 AND BIOTIN INJECTIONS
We prescribe and give hydroxocobalamin, the same prescription form of vitamin B12 used by GPs and the NHS. Injections go straight into the muscle, so they don't rely on absorption through the gut, which is why they suit people with low B12 from diet, digestive conditions or long-term medication. Vitamin B12 injections start at £25, usually every two to three months for maintenance.
Biotin injections, from £30, support hair, skin and nails, and can be combined with our hair restoration treatments. We recommend a private blood test first, to confirm a deficiency and give a baseline to measure against. Both need a medical consultation at least 48 hours before your first injection.
PRIVATE BLOOD TESTS IN CARDIFF
Your blood is drawn by our phlebotomist in clinic, as a full venous sample rather than a finger-prick, then sent by courier to a London laboratory. Results usually come back within 24 to 48 hours, and our medical team reviews them. Tests cover vitamin B12, vitamin D, iron and ferritin, thyroid, hormones, cholesterol, HbA1c, liver and kidney function, and more. No GP referral is needed. See all our private blood tests.
ALLER-TOX FOR HAYFEVER
Aller-tox gives botulinum toxin as a fine mist into the nose, using a single-use atomising device, to reduce sneezing, a runny or blocked nose and itching.
There are no injections.
It takes around 15 minutes, costs £250, and for many people one treatment covers the hayfever season. A consultation is needed at least 48 hours beforehand, so book early in spring.

NICE recommends botulinum toxin for chronic migraine, meaning 15 or more headache days a month. Treatment costs £399, is repeated every 12 weeks, and is assessed over three treatment cycles, because results vary between people. You need a confirmed migraine diagnosis from your GP before treatment.
We also use botulinum toxin for teeth grinding and jaw clenching (£220), facial tics (£210), blepharospasm, the involuntary eyelid spasm that causes forced blinking (£220), and eyelid ptosis (£120).
All of these need a face-to-face consultation at least 48 hours before treatment, as botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine. Book medical Botox.
