C-Tetra Luxe is the richer, more nourishing version of Medik8's bestselling vitamin C serum —
14% stable vitamin C in a cushioned, lipid-rich base designed for skin that finds lighter
serums insufficient.

It uses the same tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate as the original C-Tetra: an oil-soluble form of
vitamin C that penetrates readily, doesn't sting, and doesn't oxidise or destabilise the way
traditional L-ascorbic acid serums do. The difference is the base — a more emollient
formulation that delivers antioxidant protection and hydration in a single step.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Apply 3–4 drops to clean, dry skin each morning, before moisturiser and SPF. Suitable for
daily use.

Always follow with SPF 30 or higher — vitamin C works best alongside sun protection.

C-Tetra — 7% vitamin C in a light oil base. The starting point, and ideal for sensitive or
oily skin.

C-Tetra Luxe — 14% vitamin C in a richer, more nourishing base. Best for dry, dehydrated or
mature skin, and for anyone wanting hydration alongside antioxidant protection.

C-Tetra Advanced — 20% vitamin C with phyto exosomes. The strongest in the range, for
established users wanting maximum brightening.
Will it sting?
No. This form of vitamin C is non-acidic and doesn't sting on application, unlike L-ascorbic
acid serums.

Is it too rich for oily skin?
If your skin is oily or congested, standard C-Tetra is the better fit. Luxe is formulated for
skin that needs more.

Can I use it with Crystal Retinal?
Yes — vitamin C in the morning, vitamin A at night. This is Medik8's CSA approach and the two
work well together.

Does it need refrigerating?
No. This form of vitamin C is stable and doesn't oxidise like traditional serums.

Can I use it in pregnancy?
Vitamin C is generally considered suitable. If in doubt, check with your midwife.
