Radical3 Reboot Pro Peel is Dr LEVY Switzerland's at-home exfoliating treatment, designed to work as a peel or an express mask. The brand describes it as combining three ways of exfoliating in one formula: plant-derived acids, natural fruit enzymes and fine biodegradable rice beads, to lift away dull surface cells and help improve the look of uneven texture.

Dr LEVY's formula blends alpha-hydroxy acids (glycolic, lactic, mandelic and hibiscus), black willow bark extract, pumpkin and pomegranate enzymes and 10% organic rice beads. To balance the exfoliation, it adds hyaluronic acid, provitamin B5, aloe vera and probiotics, and the brand says skin feels soft and comfortable afterwards rather than tight.

It suits most skin types that want a smoother, brighter-looking complexion, including dull, congested or uneven skin. You can adjust how strong it feels: a gentle polish on damp skin, a more intensive exfoliation on dry skin, or a short mask of up to five minutes.

Apply one pump to cleansed skin, avoiding the eyes. For a gentle exfoliation, apply to damp skin, massage lightly and rinse. For a more intensive exfoliation, apply to dry skin and massage more firmly. For a mask, apply to dry skin, massage and leave on for no more than five minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Start with once a week and build up to twice a week if your skin is comfortable. Stockists list up to three times a week as the maximum. It can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands. Follow with serum and moisturiser, and use a broad-spectrum SPF every morning.

Dr LEVY Switzerland says that anyone with sensitive (but not hyper-sensitive) skin should start its products slowly, following the brand's phased approach, rather than introducing everything at full frequency at once. The brand notes that, because its formulas are highly active, skin can look slightly pink at the start; it says this is rare and usually settles within three to five days.
Suited to normal, combination, oily and dull or uneven-looking skin, and to anyone concerned with rough texture, visible pores or congestion. Dr LEVY says it suits all skin types, but because it combines acids, enzymes and beads, start slowly if your skin is reactive.

Avoid using it on broken, sunburnt or irritated skin, or straight after other exfoliating acids, retinoids or in-clinic resurfacing treatments. Dr LEVY does not recommend its products for anyone with rosacea, recent or active eczema, recent or open wounds, or hyper-sensitive skin.
