Marini SkinSolutions Bioglycolic Face Cleanser (formerly Jan Marini Bioglycolic Cleanser) is a glycolic acid cleanser that does far more than clean — it gently resurfaces. Built around free glycolic acid, it lifts away dirt, oil, make-up and the build-up of dead surface cells that leave skin looking dull, rough and congested, revealing a smoother, brighter, clearer complexion underneath.
Glycolic acid is the most established of the alpha hydroxy acids, prized for loosening the "glue" that holds dead cells to the skin's surface. Apply a small amount to dry skin and massage gently for 1–2 minutes to allow the glycolic acid to work, avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with the rest of your routine.
Use once or twice daily. If you're new to acids or have sensitive skin, start once daily (evening) and build up. Always apply a broad-spectrum SPF in the morning — glycolic acid can increase sun sensitivity.
