Blemish SOS is Medik8's rapid-action targeted gel for individual spots. Applied directly to a blemish, it helps reduce its appearance and calm visible redness, drying fast and invisibly so it can be worn under or over make-up.
The formula combines 2% salicylic acid, which exfoliates inside the pore to help clear built-up oil and dead skin cells, with azelaic acid, which Medik8 says helps target blemish-causing bacteria. Dioic acid helps control the look of excess oil, while niacinamide (vitamin B3) calms, hydrates and supports the skin barrier so the area does not become overly dry.
It is designed for oily and blemish-prone skin that experiences occasional breakouts and suits anyone who wants a discreet, on-the-spot product to keep in their routine or bag.
