Medik8 Intelligent Retinol 3TR 15ml
Medik8 Intelligent Retinol 3TR is a vitamin A night serum containing 0.3% retinol, the lowest of the three Intelligent Retinol serum strengths (3TR, 6TR and 10TR) and a sensible place to begin for anyone new to retinol. Medik8 describes it as helping to visibly smooth and brighten the skin, improve the look of firmness and give a more youthful-looking complexion.
The retinol is combined with Medik8's Time Release technology, which releases it gradually over the night to help keep the skin comfortable. Climbazole is added to boost the activity of vitamin A in the skin, while squalane, an almost skin-identical lipid, helps support the skin barrier and vitamin E adds antioxidant protection.
It suits most skin types, particularly those starting to notice fine lines, uneven texture or dullness. It is used in the evening after cleansing and before moisturiser, introduced gradually, and should always be followed by a broad spectrum SPF the next morning.
