Medik8 Oxy-R Peptides is a high-strength brightening serum that targets the look of dark spots, discolouration and uneven skin tone. It combines 1% oxyresveratrol, an antioxidant derived from the mulberry family, with peptides and hyaluronic acid, and comes as two 10ml bottles with a click-activated system designed to keep the formula stable.
Oxyresveratrol helps block tyrosinase, the enzyme involved in producing pigment. Tetrapeptide-30 helps limit tyrosinase production, while acetyl glycyl beta-alanine helps block the transfer of pigment to skin cells, so the formula works on several stages of pigment formation. Hyaluronic acid keeps the skin hydrated. Medik8 reports that in an independent consumer study of 50 participants, users saw brighter, more even-looking skin in 7 days, 96% agreed skin felt smooth and 92% agreed it was gentle.
