Lashes and brows, once nightly: cleanse the face, remove contact lenses and make sure the skin is completely dry. Apply the eyelash serum as a thin line along the base of the upper lashes only, like liquid eyeliner - never the lower lash line. Wipe excess from the applicator and dip once per eye. Apply the brow serum from the root outward, following the natural brow shape, concentrating on sparse areas and blotting anything that strays onto surrounding skin. Wait 90 seconds for both to dry before applying anything else; contact lenses can go back in after 15 minutes.

Scalp, once daily: part the hair and dispense the BioStim Scalp Serum directly onto the scalp across the whole head, focusing on areas of concern. Massage in with the fingertips and leave to absorb. It can be used on dry or damp hair, morning or night, and is not rinsed out.

NouriPlex Technology (lash and brow serums): biotin to support natural keratin production, panthenol to condition, sodium hyaluronate to hold moisture, and a proprietary lipid compound. BioStim Complex (scalp serum): biotin, peptides and amino acids alongside 18 hair nutrients. Caffeine (scalp): energises the scalp. Niacinamide (scalp): soothes and helps balance oiliness. Ginseng root and pumpkin seed extracts, oleanolic acid and glycerin complete the scalp formula.

All three are slow. The lash serum's study reported results from eight weeks with more pronounced results at 16; the brow serum's from eight weeks with pronounced results at 12; the scalp serum's headline 52% volume figure comes from a 24-week test, though Obagi report some participants noticing changes from two weeks. Nothing here works in a fortnight, and stopping means the appearance gradually returns to baseline, so treat these as an ongoing routine rather than a course. Obagi are explicit that the lash and brow serums are not intended to cause hair growth - the claims are about the appearance of thickness, density and fill. Mild irritation at the lash line is the most common complaint; if it happens, drop to alternate nights. Results vary between individuals.

A gentle cleanser matters more than usual here, since the lash and brow serums go onto clean, dry skin every night. For the eye area more broadly, Obagi ELASTIderm Firming Eye Cream or the Daily Hydro-Drops Rejuvenating Eye Gel Cream work alongside the lash serum without interfering with it - apply them around the orbital bone and keep the lash serum to the lash line itself. The Nu-Cil Lash Duo Kit covers lashes and brows only. Will this actually grow my hair? Obagi state clearly that the lash and brow serums are not intended to cause hair growth; they are cosmetic products that improve the appearance of thickness and density. The scalp serum has clinical data behind its volume claim. If you want genuine regrowth intervention, that is a consultation, not a serum.

Can I use the lash serum on my lower lashes? No. Upper lash line only.

Can I wear it with lash extensions or mascara? Apply to clean, dry skin and allow 90 seconds to dry. Mascara goes on afterwards or the following morning. Check with your technician about extensions.

Can I use it during pregnancy? We would not recommend it. Speak to us or your midwife first.

How long will the kit last? Roughly two to three months for the lash and brow serums at once-daily use. The scalp serum depends on hair length and density.
