About this treatment

Medical microneedling on the body works through exactly the same mechanism as facial microneedling — controlled micro-injuries at calibrated depths trigger the skin's wound healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production in the treated dermis and progressively improving skin quality, texture and firmness. Body microneedling at Sebastian Rose is used for: STRETCH MARKS — both red/purple striae rubrae (active phase, most responsive) and mature silver marks. The collagen induction response can meaningfully improve depth, texture and pigmentation of stretch marks across the abdomen, thighs, hips, breasts and upper arms. BODY SCARS — surgical scars, injury scars and post-acne body scarring. Microneedling remodels the scar tissue, improving surface texture and reducing the visual prominence of scarring over a course of treatment. SKIN LAXITY — crepey or loose skin on the inner arms, abdomen, inner thighs, knees and décolletage. Particularly effective for patients experiencing skin looseness following weight loss, including post-Mounjaro or Wegovy transformation. ENHANCED WITH REGENERATIVE ADD-ONS — body microneedling at Sebastian Rose can be combined with PRP, polynucleotides or Sunekos Body infused through the micro-channels during treatment, dramatically amplifying the regenerative response and producing results that neither treatment achieves alone. Protocol: 4 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Results develop progressively and continue building for up to 6 months after the final session.
