About this treatment

Your full HArmonyCa treatment: two 1.25ml syringes, one placed each side of the lower face. Allergan's dual-action hybrid injectable. Hyaluronic acid gives an immediate lift, while calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates your own collagen over the following months, with lifting effects on the jawline and cheeks reported for up to 18 months. It suits softening along the jawline, early jowls, loss of firmness through the cheeks, and the lines in front of the ears that show when you smile. It isn't used in the lips, neck or under-eyes. Two syringes is the standard treatment, and it's what almost everyone needs. If your assessment shows you'd benefit from a third, you can add it at your appointment. It contains lidocaine, so most people find it comfortable. Expect redness or swelling for a day or two, and occasionally bruising. Your review appointment at three to four weeks is included. The hyaluronic acid part can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if ever needed. The calcium hydroxyapatite part cannot, and breaks down naturally over time instead.
