Your side profile is a relationship between three points: the nose, the chin, and the line between them. Treating one in isolation often only shifts where the imbalance sits — a refined nose can make a recessed chin more obvious, and chin projection alone can make a prominent nose look larger. Profile Balancing treats both together. NON-SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY Premium dermal filler placed precisely along the bridge and at the tip to create a straighter profile line and lift a downturned tip. Filler adds volume rather than removing it, so what changes is the line your eye follows down the nose — a dorsal hump is camouflaged rather than reduced. CHIN FILLER A less projected chin shortens the appearance of the lower face and can make the nose look more prominent by comparison. Filler adds projection and definition to the chin point, lengthening the lower third and improving the balance between chin, lips and nose. WHY TOGETHER Because the two features are read in relation to each other. Adjusting both in one session lets us assess the profile as a whole rather than correcting one feature and revisiting the other later. WHAT IT CANNOT DO Filler cannot make your nose smaller, narrow a wide nose, correct a deviated septum or improve breathing. It cannot alter your jaw position or bone structure. If what you want needs surgery or orthodontic work, we will tell you at consultation rather than treating you regardless. SAFETY — PLEASE READ The nose has a limited blood supply, with vessels connecting to the circulation around the eye. Non-surgical rhinoplasty carries a higher risk of vascular complication than any other filler treatment. Treatment at Sebastian Rose is carried out by GMC or NMC-registered medical professionals holding a Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine with 24 years of healthcare experience including emergency medicine. We are ACE Group World members, carry dissolving agent on site, and are trained in the full emergency protocol for vascular complications. We will not treat the nose if you have had surgical rhinoplasty, or if you have permanent or semi-permanent filler already in place. WHAT TO EXPECT Around 45 minutes, with numbing cream applied first. Results are visible immediately and settle over two weeks. Expect mild swelling for two to three days; bruising is more common at the chin than the nose. Results typically last 12-18 months.
