Profile Balancing+ is our complete side profile treatment, adding lip filler to non-surgical rhinoplasty and chin augmentation. WHY THE LIPS BELONG IN THIS TREATMENT There's a recognised relationship in facial assessment between the tip of the nose, the lips and the point of the chin — they sit on a line, and how far the lips sit in front of or behind it is one of the things the eye reads as a balanced profile. That means the lips aren't an add-on here. Change the nose and chin without them and the lips can end up sitting differently in the profile than they did before. Treating all three lets us assess and adjust the relationship as a whole. WHAT'S INCLUDED Non-surgical rhinoplasty — dermal filler placed along the bridge and at the tip to create a straighter profile line and lift a downturned tip. Filler adds volume rather than removing it, so a dorsal hump is camouflaged rather than reduced. Chin filler — added projection and definition at the chin point, lengthening the lower third and improving proportion against the nose. Lip filler — volume and definition placed to sit correctly in the new profile, rather than treated in isolation. WHAT IT CANNOT DO Filler cannot make your nose smaller, narrow a wide nose, correct a deviated septum or improve breathing. It cannot change jaw position, bone structure or tooth position. SAFETY — PLEASE READ The nose has a limited blood supply, with vessels connecting to the circulation around the eye. Non-surgical rhinoplasty carries a higher risk of vascular complication than any other filler treatment. Treatment at Sebastian Rose is carried out by GMC or NMC-registered medical professionals holding Level 7 in Aesthetic Medicine, with 24 years of healthcare experience including emergency medicine. We are ACE Group World members, carry dissolving agent on site, and are trained in the full emergency protocol for vascular complications. We will not treat the nose if you have had surgical rhinoplasty in the last twelve months, or if you have permanent or semi-permanent filler in place. WHAT TO EXPECT Around 60 minutes, with numbing cream applied first. Results are visible immediately and settle over two to three weeks — lips swell more than the nose or chin, so allow a fortnight before judging the result.
