About this treatment

Sunekos® is an injectable that works with your skin's own biology rather than sitting on top of it. At our Cardiff clinic we use it to restore hydration, elasticity, density and volume across the face, eye area, neck, décolleté and hands. HOW IT WORKS Sunekos pairs non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid with HY6AA, a patented complex of six amino acids. The hyaluronic acid hydrates the dermis immediately. The amino acids give your fibroblasts the raw materials to build new collagen and elastin, rebuilding the extracellular matrix that gives skin its firmness and thickness. Because it regenerates tissue rather than displacing it, results build across the course and keep developing afterwards. Sunekos 1200 uses a higher molecular weight hyaluronic acid placed more deeply, and restores volume where there is hollowing, sagging and deeper lines. Which one you need is a clinical decision made at consultation. YOUR PLAN Performa runs as three sessions around two weeks apart. Where volume loss and laxity are more established, we begin with one session of Sunekos 1200 and follow with three of Performa. Results keep developing for three to four weeks after the final session and typically hold six to nine months, with a single maintenance session to preserve them. Individual results vary. ON THE DAY Expect small injection-point bumps, mild redness and occasional bruising, usually settling within a few hours to two days. Avoid make-up, exercise, heat and alcohol for 24 hours. Every course begins with a face-to-face consultation, full medical history and skin assessment, with written aftercare and follow-up between sessions.
