TrapTox uses botulinum toxin injected into the trapezius muscle to create a visibly slimmer, more elegant shoulder and neck profile — while simultaneously relieving chronic neck and shoulder tension, trapezius-related headaches and the discomfort caused by an overdeveloped or chronically tight trapezius muscle. The trapezius is a large triangular muscle running from the base of the skull across the upper back and shoulders. When hypertrophic or chronically tense — from stress, desk work, posture or heavy training — it creates a short, wide shoulder profile and is one of the most common sources of chronic headache originating in the neck. Botulinum toxin relaxes and gradually reduces this muscle over four to six weeks, creating a longer, more elegant neckline and providing sustained relief from tension and headache symptoms. Results develop gradually over four to six weeks and last four to six months. A consultation is required before treatment as botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine.
