Medik8 Press & Clear Refill is the same formula as Press & Clear, supplied in a 150ml refill bottle. Medik8 designs it to be used with the reusable pump from your original Press & Clear bottle: simply move the pump across and twist it on, which cuts down on packaging waste.
Press & Clear is a gentle, microbiome-friendly daily exfoliating tonic for blemish-prone skin. Its encapsulated 2% salicylic acid (BHA) is released gradually, so it can work inside the pores to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and congestion while staying comfortable enough for daily use. It also contains 2% tranexamic acid to help fade the look of dark marks left after blemishes, polylysine to help target blemish-causing bacteria, and fermented rice extract for hydration.
In Medik8's own eight-week independent study of 29 people, visible blemishes, pores and post-blemish dark spots were reduced by more than 35%. Medik8 also reports that 96% of users in a consumer study found it gentle on sensitive, blemish-prone skin.
