WHAT IS WOW FUSION?

WOW FUSION is an innovative, patented, hyper-personalised skincare programme that utilises micro needling in combination with mesotherapy, allowing medically trained professionals to create  skincare cocktails in the little glass vial. Each WOW FUSION cocktail is bespoke, and designed and formulated to help with your specific skin needs.

WHAT IS MICRO NEEDLING?

Micro-needling is a medical procedure that involves creating tiny injections in a specific area to help with skin's overall texture, stimulate collagen production, help to thicken the dermis, assist with acne scarring, and help to improve fine lines and wrinkles.

WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?

,  Mesotherapy is a procedure that involves injections contain a combination of vitamins, minerals, and other components naturally found in the skin, such as hyaluronic acid. With WOW FUSION the mesotherapy ingredients are tailored and administered depending on the specific concerns one is facing.so that the ingredients can flow into the epidermal/dermal junction and improve the luminosity (glow) of the skin, thicken the epidermis (skin) and strengthen the dermis through mild collagen stimulation. “The treatment has been proven to help skin’s overall texture and stimulate collagen production. “  - Mary Stevenson, M.D, New York City-based dermatologist via Vogue Magazine.

IS THE PROCEDURE ITSELF PAINFUL?

A topical numbing cream may be applied before your treatment (as long as you do not have any allergies or contraindications to this). WOW FUSION is considered to be a painless procedure, although some very low level acids that are essential for skin rejuvenation may tingle a little when applied. Everyone's 'pain' tolerance is different.

ARE THE RESULTS INSTANT?

Yes! You will see the 'WOW' factor as soon as the treatment is finished, with tightening results of the micro needling visible in around a week..

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

For many clients, just one treatment will give the desired results: for other clients with skin problems such as fine lines, hyperpigmentation, acne or hair loss we may recommend a total of 4-6 initial treatment sessions undertaken weekly for optimum results. Following this, we recommend a single treatment every 8-12 weeks to maintain your beautiful results.

 

Over time the benefits of the skin-nourishing ingredients will build up, making the results of each subsequent treatment even better than the last!

If you are just looking for that 'one off' added 'glow', for a wedding or a special event, you can have just a single treatment session.

​

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD - OR SHOULDN'T DO - PRIOR TO THE TREATMENT?

We advise you not to drink alcohol or take Ibuprofen within the preceding 24hours of your appointment, as this can increase the risk of bruising.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY TREATMENT?

The WOW facial is designed to have zero downtime, meaning the moment you leave the clinic your skin will be glowing and luminous. However, sometimes certain skin types mayhave a little roughness, as the skin goes through the exfoliation and rejuvenation process. This lasts for the maximum of a few days.

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD OR SHOULDN'T DO AFTER HAVING WOW FUSION?

Do not touch the injected areas following your treatment. Do not wear make-up for an hour (ideally six hours) following treatment. Avoid steam rooms and saunas for 2 weeks following your treatment. Wear SPF 30 at all times. Keep skin moisturised  Never pick or peel you skin if it feels rough, or is flaking.

WHAT ABOUT ANY RISKS?

For some people, the active ingredient in the WOW facial may cause your skin to look or feel dry, flaky and or peel. This is simply part of the exfoliation process that will ultimately leave your skin glowing and luminous.

 

The WOW fusion device involves the use of tiny needles, which may occasionally leave very small bruises. This is highly unlikely. 

 

Your skin may feel quite tight which is normal, but we may advise that you use our intense repair complex to speed up the heeling process.

ARE THERE ANY PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR WOW FUSION?

You cannot have WOW FUSION with BOTOX if:

- Some types of active acne

- Any haemophilia, bleeding disorder, or are taking blood thinning medications

- Active infection of any type

- Skin cancer

- You have had keloid or hypertrophic scarring

- You have eczema

You have psoriasis

- You have dermatitis

You are pregnant

You are breastfeeding

You are taking certain antibiotics 

You have any chronic muscle or nerve conditions, such as Eaton Lambert syndrome, myasthenia gravis, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

You have any sensitivity to any of the product excipients - human albumin or lactose monohydrate

You cannot have WOW FUSION if:

- Some types of active acne

- Any haemophilia, bleeding disorder, or are taking blood thinning medications

- Active infection of any type

- Skin cancer

- You have had keloid or hypertrophic scarring

- You have eczema

You have psoriasis

- You have dermatitis

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?

WOW FUSION with BOTOX involves the use of prescription only medication, which means you if this is your first visit to us you MUST have a consultation at least 48 hours before your treatment.  This can be done either remotely (over the telephone due to current COVID guidance and regulations) or face to face in clinic.This is to ensure product safety and suitability for YOU. Once you have been seen and treated with WOW FUSION with BOTOX at least once, you are able to simply book and be treated without the need for any further, separate consultation.
