The treatment step of your routine: concentrated actives, chosen for what your skin needs most.
BROWSE SERUMS
A serum is the treatment step of your routine. It's lighter than a moisturiser and carries a higher concentration of active ingredients, so it can work on a specific concern: dullness, lines, dehydration or uneven tone.
How to choose a serum
Choose by what you want to change, not by skin type. Vitamin C brightens and protects against daily damage. Peptides support firmness. Retinal smooths lines and texture over time. Hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 hydrate. Niacinamide helps with uneven tone and visible pores.
The finder above matches our serums to each concern. See our pigmentation and lines and firmness ranges for products that work alongside them.
Morning and evening
Vitamin C works best in the morning, under your moisturiser and SPF, where it adds to your daily protection. Retinal belongs in the evening, as it makes skin more sensitive to daylight. Hydrating and peptide serums work morning or night.
Apply serum after cleansing and before moisturiser. Start with the right cleanser, and finish every morning with SPF, such as Heliocare.
Layering more than one
You don't need several serums. One well-chosen serum, used consistently, does more than three used occasionally. If you do use two, apply the thinnest first, and introduce one new product at a time so you know how your skin responds.

SERUM FAQs
What does a face serum do?
A serum delivers a concentrated dose of active ingredients to target a specific concern, such as dullness, lines, dehydration or uneven tone. Use it after cleansing and before moisturiser.
Which serum is best for pigmentation or dull skin?
A vitamin C serum, such as Obagi Professional-C or Medik8 C-Tetra, used every morning under SPF. For stubborn pigmentation, ask us about a full routine, as SPF matters as much as the serum.
Which serum is best for fine lines?
A retinal serum such as Medik8 Crystal Retinal in the evening, or a peptide serum such as Medik8 Liquid Peptides or the Dr LEVY Booster Serum if your skin doesn't tolerate vitamin A.
Can I use vitamin C and retinal together?
Yes, at different times of day: vitamin C in the morning and retinal in the evening. Introduce them one at a time, a few weeks apart.
How long before I see results?
Hydrating serums work within days. Vitamin C and peptides usually take four to eight weeks, and retinal around twelve weeks of consistent use.
Can I use serums after clinic treatments?
After peels, microneedling or skin boosters, stop active serums such as vitamin C and retinal for about a week, and use a gentle hydrating serum instead. We'll give you specific aftercare advice at your appointment.
