Each of the 30 pads comes sealed in its own sachet, so the formula is as fresh and as accurately dosed on the thirtieth pad as it was on the first. That matters more than it sounds: the usual weakness of acid pads sold loose in a tub is that the solution redistributes and evaporates once the lid has been opened a few dozen times, so the last pads are never quite the treatment the first ones were. Each pad is dual-sided — a textured side for gentle physical polishing, a smooth side for an even sweep across the skin.
The formula pairs 4% glycolic acid and 1% mandelic acid, alpha hydroxy acids that work at the surface to loosen dead cells, soften rough texture and lift dullness, with 2% salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid that is oil-soluble and can therefore get inside the pore itself to clear the congestion behind blackheads and breakouts. 3% phytic acid, the gentlest of the four, supports brightening and helps even out discolouration without the sting. Niacinamide and willow bark extract sit alongside them to keep skin calm and comfortable while the acids work.
That combination is the whole point. Four acids at modest individual strengths, formulated and buffered together, reach further than any one of them would alone at the same concentration — and they do it with far less of the irritation that comes from stacking separate acid products on top of each other at home.
